Hello X! I'm back! With a slight pivot from normal copy and content writing to offering educational email courses for marine/boating organisations. Check out The Digital Nomad Boat-Buying Checklist to see what it's all about - https://t.co/vaxgBlyQPU
@ThatWriterJon I've literally just done the same thing - "when can you start with us?" "uh, immediately... oh no, wait, it's Christmas and I want to take the rest of the month off. I won't be working until the new year"
I think it's because January still feels so much further away than it is 🙈
@keano81 I've started making my own this year. Just coconut oil, a bit of Vaseline, and some essential oils. Takes a few attempts to get the ratios right, but I love doing it :)
@upmostmike Hi Mike! I'd be really interested in getting more involved with health-focused companies :) And my team and I have some availability coming up, too! Check out my website - https://t.co/le0YGdfrJp - for my portfolio/testimonials or pop me a DM to chat more.
People on this app love to make blanket statements to sound smart. Dont do this if you want to 5x your revenue. Do that if you want to get better clients.
My only advice is to try everything. Dont follow any pattern. What will work for you might be unheard of in the industry.
Bringing a point of view to your content makes it original.
Big whoop.
That's no surprise.
But this might be: it makes your content more organized, too.
Instead of a random list of sub points, suddenly you have to pay attention to how everything fits together on the whole.
@thedigitalyenta Hi guys! I'm a freelance copy and content writer with 4+ years' experience.
My team and I currently have vacancies for a few new clients. We'd love to work in wellness/related areas atm, but can help anyone boost their copy!
Check out my website here - https://t.co/le0YGdeTTR.
@lenkeenan It is so warm! I keep double-checking the heating to make sure it's off because I don't quite believe it's this warm this late in the year 😂
@lizziedavey Yes please! I never know what to post on LinkedIn (in fact, I haven't posted in years lol... Working on a content calendar to try and motivate myself to actually do something with it lol)
@hjaspertravels I've got some of those instant latte sachets so it's not too bad without milk. Got my other half to bring some milk home though so disaster averted!
I have made a mistake. I used the last of the milk for cereal when I could have used yoghurt. But I can't use yoghurt for coffee. Does this mean I'll have to go ~outside~ to caffeinate myself? Or just suck it up and have coffee without milk? #WorkFromHomeProblems
@hjaspertravels@job_writers Yeah it's really difficult to edit your own work immediately, always best to take some time away and come back with a fresh pair of eyes :)
Struggling to find prospects to cold pitch?
You’re not alone!
In fact, the most common question I hear from fellow freelancers about cold pitching is: “where do I even find potential clients to pitch???”
Valid question.
Here are some places you might not have considered 🧵👇
@taru_uppal Today I've gone for a playlist called "Hangover Friendly Rock", although I prefer instrumental tracks when I'm serious writing so I'm not distracted by the lyrics 🎶
@SamanthaAnderl@heytayhar@getgroove_ My absolute best and most productive hours are usually 12pm - 4pm ish. If you're looking for a whole day, though, I'd say 10am - 6pm. I'm naturally more of a night owl than an early bird, so I always look for flexibility with any client who wants me to work specific hours.
