Picking up where our friends @PSEA left off: Jim DeMint has also signed the letter supporting vouchers. DeMint has said that openly gay teachers should be banned from teaching in public schools. He also voted repeatedly for a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage.
Among the signers to a letter supporting lifeline scholarship is…Grover Norquist, president of American for Tax Reform, who once said his goal is to cut public funding (for public schools, healthcare, & other services) “down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub."

“There is absolutely no way to create a tuition voucher program that doesn’t take money from public schools,” @PSEAPres said during a Capitol press conference today with @PASchoolsWork and other labor leaders.
“Diverting one cent of taxpayer money to a tuition voucher scheme for private and religious schools is absolutely irresponsible, no matter what name you call it,” @PSEAPres Rich Askey said.
