Last week, Natalie Svilarich was recognized by Hy-Vee & the Kansas City Chiefs as the KS recipient of Teacher Appreciation for her outstanding work at PSMS. Mrs. S received a surprise visit from Hy-Vee & the Chiefs and received 2 VIP tickets to a Chiefs game! Congrats Mrs. S!

We are proud to announce Mission Trail Elementary’s Brevin Armstrong and @PSMSBV's Audrey Burgoon as our nominees for the 2025 Kansas Horizon Award! 🥳🍎💙

The @ksdehq award program honors up to 32 educators who excelled in their first year of teaching. Armstrong, a first grade teacher for the Bulldogs, and Burgoon, a theatre and modern communication teacher for the Panthers, began their teaching careers with Blue Valley in 2023.

The excitement and support from their students and colleagues during yesterday’s surprise announcements were truly inspiring. Congratulations to our two well-deserving honorees!

Congrats to Jadyn Wooten (@WootenJadyn) of Blue Valley, the 2024 DiRenna Award winner!

Wooten averaged 19 ppg, 7.3 reb, 6.4 asssits and 2.3 steals. Wooten has collected the Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year and Kansas 6A first-team twice, and will play at Oklahoma State!
