My Instagram and all Meta-linked social media accounts were shut down after what appears to be a completely false complaint from someone who simply didn’t like me. No warning. No specifics. No real appeal. Everything disabled at once. This wasn’t just “a social account.” It erased the last 10+ years of my credibility, my business, my professional resume, client proof, and everything I’ve built in my industry. Years of documented work gone instantly due to an automated decision. What makes this even more alarming: my account was verified, and I was paying monthly for the blue check. Even as a paying, verified user, there was zero protection, zero human review, and zero accountability. Since this happened, I’m seeing boatloads of people on TikTok, X, Reddit, and other platforms saying the exact same thing happened to them. Accounts suspended or permanently disabled for violations that don’t exist. Businesses and creators wiped out overnight. This is happening to hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people. The core problem is AI-only moderation with no due process. Meta has effectively removed humans from enforcement. It’s incredibly easy to weaponize the system by filing a false complaint, and once the AI flags you, you’re guilty with no real path to recovery. Worse, there is no real support system. Every “help” button just sends you in circles through automated forms. No real email. No phone number. No way to speak to a human being who can actually review the case. It’s a closed loop designed to exhaust people into giving up. I’m posting this here because X has positioned itself as a platform that values transparency, speech, and accountability. This issue deserves real scrutiny. If anyone on your team is looking into platform accountability, AI moderation abuse, or digital due process, I’m willing to share full documentation, timelines, and evidence. This isn’t about me alone. This is about an entire digital economy being silently erased by unchecked automation.
