We are so grateful to be the recipient of this fundraiser. Thank you to everyone at OPFFA Local 162 for being champions of kindness! Together we will make a difference.
#PinkShirtDay is over but bullying is an everyday problem with damaging effects. Let's be inclusive & kind and support those seeking help. Thanks to everyone who supported our campaign for local non-profit Proud to be Me. Our $750 donation is on its way!

When I was new to Canada, I got laughed at for wearing pink shoes to school.
I was ashamed for not knowing that, in Canada, pink was a girl’s colour.
Now, I proudly wear pink to stand up against bullying.

Tomorrow is #PinkShirtDay, and I love to refer to it as P.I.N.K. Shirt Day. Be Positive, Inclusive, Nurturing, and Kind whether in person or online. It’s an important year to learn about #digitalcitizenship, #cyberbullying and being vigilant to stop all forms of bullying.
#PinkShirtDay is about more than being kind.
It’s about speaking out against bullying.
It’s about standing up to homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism, and racism.
It’s about demanding better from yourself and others.
And it should remind us that one day isn’t good enough.
The 1st time I went to a gym in Calgary at 391lbs two guys behind me were mocking the back of my neck looked like a package of sausages. That messed me up for awhile but eventually used it as motivation. If you see someone struggling at a gym just be kind

Today, I proudly wear Pink to support the Canadian born movement against bullying. Take a stand, spread love and most importantly, be kind.
