Jevin Finley (UofH PTC Select 15U) shows real promise at a potential wing position. He has the size and speed to defend multiple positions, runs floor well, can slash, and shoot from outside. Court 1. Kernersville.

2029 6’4” wing Jevin Finely of PTC Select had a good showing at NXT Pro Session 6 in Tampa, Florida. As a freshman, Finely already stands out with his combination of size, length, and athleticism on the wing. He applies pressure on the defense by getting downhill, showing a natural ability to attack the rim both in transition and within the half-court offense. His downhill attacking style forces defenders into tough positions, leading to frequent trips to the free-throw line. His stride length and body control allow him to cover ground efficiently, while his length helps him finish through and over defenders with consistency. His ability to play through contact and extend at the rim makes him a reliable interior scoring threat.
Finely also shows a feel as a slasher, recognizing driving lanes and taking advantage of defensive gaps. He moves well without the ball, finding space and timing cuts effectively to create scoring opportunities. He also rebounds the ball well for his position, using his length and activity to secure possessions and help ignite transition opportunities.
Overall, Finely impacts the game as a downhill wing who consistently pressures the rim and creates offense through his athletic profile, activity, and finishing ability. He plays with pace in the open floor, converts through contact, and generates scoring chances, making him a productive young wing with clear long-term upside.

Congratulations to @Jevinfinley6 on being the only top performer in the 15U division at Session 6 in Tampa.
He followed up Jake Cannon’s 35-point performance last tournament with a 35-point performance of his own.
Jevin Finely of PTC Select 15U is someone I’ve wanted to watch live for awhile and have now had the opportunity to. Great size and length for his age, with a good ability to control the ball, get it to open teammates and get downhill effectively. Has a good ability to draw fouls and get to the line, as well as play tough defense. Switchable on the 1-4 in most 15u matchups. Great athleticism and grit in his game.

Jake Cannon averaged 21 ppg in the 15U Division. He did a good job of keeping the defense off balance all weekend.
