@GoffyMedia Hi yes Geoff was one of my heroes growing up. I was lucky to see him maybe 4 or 5 times at Acklam,Headingly and Lords. Loved his dedication and professionalism. Quite a controversial character off the field. Loved his commentary. I am sure there will be some great stories enjoy!
@Thepersontyping I would normally agree but tonight I thought he came out of his shell with some tactical insight and was apparently in tears at the end ๐
@GoffyMedia@GeoffreyBoycott I was there saw him get his ton against Leicestershire great knock against a decent bowling attack Defreitas Agnew Benjamin etc
@GraemeBandeira Was it all worth it then Wolves ยฃ4m compo plus his contract pay off. Edwards affair an spygate ruined our season.Allowing Ipswich to sleep walk to second and PO defeat to Hull gut wrenching. Very bitter about the whole experience of last season.
@GraemeBandeira@The_Bluenose_ He is the fittest player I have seen wear a Boro shirt. His workrate is second to none. He may not be George Boeteng but he won his fair share of tackles for a little lad. However, that was in the championship let's see how fairs in the Prem week in week out.
@Georgeturnerutb I am just from the Boro and that's it. I used to watch Yorkshire cricket team at Acklam Park and follow them. Never really got my head around Cleveland it was just easier to say Norh Yorkshire if required.
@TypicalBoroPod@SimonPobble Tremendous show lads as ever. Gutted we didn't go up when it was in our hands. Recruitment key to our success next season. It is going to be more challenging than this season with the teams in the league. Have a great summer see you again in August...UTB
@sarahfinn8 Great call just the Chelsea play off that first leg especially we were awesome and Basel second leg. Let's hope next season our luck and more importantly our mentality changes. I am fed up of being a pessimist I need faith in the Boro....
