I don't know how other subjects feel about this, but this is how I feel about it. I might just be too bratty and overthinky and confident, but this is something i really dislike.

personally, as a subject, the worst thing a hypnotist can do to me in the middle of an induction is to ask a question.

I would be focused on their words, their voice, their visuals, lost in their flow and falling so helplessly, and then:

"How deep are you?"
"How are you feeling?"

This breaks whatever flow they had me ensnared in. It puts all the control, decision, and power in my mind again and forces me to think my own thoughts.

When you are hypnotizing me, you don't ask. You tell.
How deep I am is how deep you decide to take me.
How I feel is what you tell me to feel.
Questions are not for the induction phase, unless you specifically put the answer you want in my head before the question. An example would be:

A hypnotist consistently telling me that I feel soft. Soft muscles, soft thoughts, soft breaths, soft voice, soft mind, and then asks:

"How are you feeling?"
The answer would be automatic. easy. natural. id just whisper "soofftttt..♡"

You are a guide, and I only follow. If you need to constantly ask me questions it means you are looking for me to reassure you in the middle of your induction. It shows me how unconfident and lost you are, and breaks any feeling of submissiveness towards you.
