12.1 patch notes will presumably be out soon but here are a couple of small leaks:
• The Lynx takes .50 caliber ammunition - a new ammo type.
• There's a new shotgun, the Origin-12, which presumably replaces the Saiga.
• Sprays are being added, either in this patch or soon.

The Lynx AMR is a 50 cal sniper, it sports similar bullet velocity irl to the awm but rebolts itself essentially making more like a DMR.

The energy causing the blue zones went unstable and wiped out many of the world's leaving only a 6x6 remastered version of Miramar and a devastated Erangel behind.
Old Erangel can still be played.

The devastated erangel is a new map (3 maps total)
