🚨 Meet Doris, she lives in California and is registered as a 126 year old who has voted in 51 elections and has NO IDEA.
California’s voting system is so corrupt that by simply knocking on the door of the “126 year old” proves election fraud.
EXPOSE IT ALL.
@SeddSezz@PrincessofWails Ah...that will fix the problem. Again, a failure to confront and deal with reality....in whatever way that presents itself! But, i am going to feel a lot more comfortable brushing that kind of inconvenience away. Life is good.
What is normal? Is it life during your life span....of 2 or 3 generations....400,500, a 1000 years? The natural world changes. 1000 years is a micro dot in the existence of the earth. Humanity certainly influences nature....its really incredibly difficult and complex to measure that ......it seems to me. The issue is nature is not static and its systems are many and varied and interact in an infinite number of ways....think of the butterfly effect. But, the weather is only a sub set of the human influenced systems. What about the extreme influence humanity has had on the land we all exist on....the infrastructure, dams, mining and, not least, agriculture...the destruction of forests! They all affect nature ....particularly, temperature. Are all those aspects accounted for in statistical models? To what extent should humanity not "interfere" with nature? Our very existence alters nature in some way. Our survival certainly depends on doing what we can to nurture our environment .....to encourage a harmonious existence with our world. We are certainly smart enough to do that. I am all for that.
Under capitalism, socialists are free to build socialism.
Under socialism, capitalists aren’t free to build anything.
Nothing stops a group of socialists pooling their money, forming a company, and splitting every wage and every pound of profit perfectly equally.... Or to donate all profit to the government.
It’s legal. It’s easy. Owning the means of production is as simple as setting up a company.
Marx wrote his manifesto before the invention of limited liability companies. Back then “seize the factory” meant seizing it from the handful of families who could afford one.
That argument expired the day anyone could start a company with limited liability, raise investment and hire who they want.
Socialists are free to lead by example and demonstrate their system works. They can out-recruit, out-motivate, out-build and out innovate based on their ideas if they like. It would prove the philosophy works. Capitalism will happily host their experiment.
The fact that nobody does this tells you a lot.
.@GadSaad argues that conservatives tend to be happier because they see society as imperfect but still worth preserving, while progressives mostly see society as fundamentally broken and believe true happiness lies in creating a future utopia. He says this mindset creates a desire to erase existing traditions, institutions, and societal structures in pursuit of an unattainable idealized future. Watch here: https://t.co/exAlMFINmC
There is something darkly amusing about the fact that selling victimhood to the most privileged people in history has become such a lucrative and big business.
When I was on tour with @jordanbpeterson he talked about many things, but probably the most common recurring theme was the "Spirit of Cain". It seems our ancient and sacred texts tell these stories for a reason: victimhood is easy, seductive and addictive. And now profitable too.
We are living through a perpetual victimhood escalation battle where people (and groups) now compete not on merit, but on the supposed disadvantages they face. Which makes perfect sense since this is the incentive structure our societies have been encouraged and forced to adopt.
Jordan Peterson went straight to the point:
“I’m not a fan of collectivists. I don’t care if they’re on the left or the right. The right level of analysis is the individual, and that’s what the West got right.”
He called out Marxists, group-first identity politics, and professors turning impressionable 18-year-olds into activists before they’re properly educated.
Building a society that truly respects the individual is one of the hardest things humans have ever tried. It requires constant vigilance. Collectivism always comes back wearing new clothes, as justice, community, equity, or compassion.
“The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities.” - Ayn Rand
The only thing that stops violent men from raping you and your society are other men who are equally willing to be violent in stopping the rapists. The West has decided that the highest virtue is to quietly comply with the destruction of your civilization because to do otherwise is bigoted toward the rapists. It really is that simple.
