Something extraordinary actually happened today.
Stuff so extraordinary, that even if it comes as a dream, you dismiss it as something that is impossibly improbable.
Thanks to your support and blessings, today I had the ultimate honor and privilege of having a conversation with our honorable Prime Minister on Mann Ki Baat about https://t.co/CIr1xkvilD
I still can't believe that he actually spoke to me, asked me about the website, its features and some questions on general history too. I am still in a daze.
For an amateur builder like me, i don't think there is a greater recognition or validation than this.
This conversation has given me enough motivation to take BharatRajya to the next level and make it the ideal history reference and visualization website for everyone.
Thank you @narendramodi ji, for encouraging people like us and inspiring us to achieve greater heights.
These is one conversation I will not forget in this lifetime. Or maybe even the next.
And rest assured sir, I won't let you down.
Even before the case, we must challenge the sheer audacity of a White woman in the US telling the Indian Ministry of Culture that she knows what Indian culture better than them is staggering. Can any Indian ever get away directing something like this towards America? This happens
Proto-Elamite?
The Pashupati seal has an elephant, a water buffalo and a rhinoceros. Ancient Elam was centred in southwestern Iran. Elephants, water buffalos and rhinoceroses are not native to ancient Elam. BTW, they are native to India. Also, the figure is seated in a Yogic posture. Is Yoga also Elamite now? Seriously?
Your profile says you are a professor. I don't mean to sound rude, but your students deserve a refund. And seriously, Western universities need to improve their hiring practices.
There is much truth in this. Germany is operating below the radar. More surveillance of the working of its foundations is needed. DW is highly biased against India.
A common problem in any #Democracy : politicians need to focus on re-election than good governance, despite assumed best intentions. Not @realDonaldTrump; his scorched-earth approach might deliver short-term gains, but what mess does it leave for the next #president to clean up?
@StocksManoj@Hardisohi@Manik_M_Jolly@MajDPSingh@major_pawan Buddy, Khalsa is an endearing/affectionate way to refer to a Sikh Officer/Soldier. My fellow South Indians are called “Thambis” and Haryanvis are called “Texans” in the same breath. It is good natured, plain Army lingo.
@venkateshprasad "Babu bhaiya Lucknow ki aad me KL ki maar raha hai ye. 2020 me Punjab ka captain bhi KL hi tha. Bahut chalaak aadmi hai Prasad Babu Bhaiya."
@AmyMek One of my favourite memories of England involved grabbing a pint under the statue of someone I greatly admire, Horatio Nelson. Oh England. What have you done.
@SurakshaWelfare@Tavysingh@DrSJaishankar I have seen this clip and often wondered, where does Pappu think our Officers and Men come from? Army mein Jawano ki fasal nahi ugti, woh farmers, workers, and unke beta/beti hi hote hain.
@singhvarun You are your own first responder/100. In the 10-20 minutes it takes for the police to arrive, this man could have kicked the shit out you or worst still, stabbed you. Your videos suggest you get into a lot of shit, I recommend you learn to defend yourself.
Veer Kunwar Singh, one of the heroes of the 1857 Revolt, who at 80 years, led the rebellion in Bihar and Eastern UP. And gave one of the toughest fights ever to the British, constantly harassing them till his end.
Thread on his Jayanti today.
