@ParkinginSheff Moves to ban/reform pavement parking would need to be done on a hyper-local basis, taking into account the needs of the residents and visitors. A blunt instrument is not the solution.
@ParkinginSheff It's not that straightforward, unfortunately. Pavement parking is a problem on my street. But there's also too few marked bays. With careful consideration you can park so that there's space to let a wheelchair through on the pavement and vehicles passed, but it's not easy.
@vicdevine @HJB3996@mikeyjavery@anon_opin There's a false equivalence between bringing kids to a pub and changing a poonami where there's food and drink being served. That'd be like saying men aren't allowed in pubs because I once saw one do a shit on a table.
@orofinger@LizWebsterSBF@davecoveney Sure, in time. But that's not the argument. Offering people a truth they don't want to hear is a sure way to lose. It doesn't matter how truthful your truth is if you're stuck forever on the opposition bench.
@orofinger@LizWebsterSBF@davecoveney If Labour ran on a position of rejoining, they'd lose the election. It's not going to happen in the short-medium term. That's why not.
@LizWebsterSBF@davecoveney Sorry, but I think that's a blinkered position. You'd lose everyone who voted Brexit, as well as some who didn't because they won't want to reopen the can of worms.
I say this as a Remainer.
@Kev_OC66@kevharrison_@ProfessorAaronP@fesshole Not necessarily, and unless your example was tested in court it doesn't prove anything. OP's employer could assert that the contract was signed in bad faith as they knew it was a mistake.
@willp6666@anon_opin Either you've never been to Nandos, therefore you have no idea whether it's good or bad, therefore your opinion on its quality is invalid.
Or you have been to Nandos, and so by your own rule, your opinion is invalid.
Therefore, we need discuss this no further. Good day.
@bookiesnacksize This is from a sketch show here in the UK called That Mitchell and Webb Look. The Nazi guy stops naziing for a moment to reflect.
Not sure how famous this gif is in the US?
@EmmaPomfret Hi, hope you don't mind the follow. We met on the train - my profile's anon because of work. I googled Halo as promised and found you. Lovely to meet you, and hope your travels go ok.
@ChrisIlett @anon_opin Disagree on the graphic for intermediate. If you'd prefer to use graphic over parametric, you probably aren't doing it right.
Even lots of pro audio, you can't do separate sides differently with a built in stereo bus. You have to route it into two monos.
