Peace Winds’ disaster medical team arrived in the hardest-hit area of #Myanmar last weekend to begin #earthquakerelief activities. They have been treating survivors at a field clinic in Sagaing where there is a desperate need for emergency medical care.
Peace Winds is providing food, water, clothing, and other emergency relief after a series of deadly #wildfires in Sancheong, #SouthKorea have burned more than 118,000 acres, displacing more than 33,000 and killing 28 people.

The program supports Syrian refugees, who fled their country’s civil war, and displaced Yezidi Iraqis, who fled Islamic State genocide. Peace Winds helps them become self-reliant with vocational training, tool-lending, and apprenticeship programs.

Peace Winds recently handed over donated funds to the Kwe Ka Buang Learning Center in #Thailand, home to hundreds of children who fled the civil war in #Burma. Funds will be used to offer extra meals for students, as well as to cover the school's utility bills.
Meet Rojin, a mother and Syrian #refugee living in northern #Iraq. Rojin is the sole provider for her husband, who is unable to work, and their young son. She recently lost her job with Peace Winds due to the U.S. Government’s cuts to foreign aid.
