Today we celebrated our grade fives with an assembly. Students Liam and Emily shared their reflections of their time at PWES. The grade fives also shared a beautiful song and a PowerPoint of their recent adventures at camp. #schoolfamilyforever@AVRCE_NS
This month is Agriculture Literacy Month and local farmer, David Newcombe came into grade 3 Mackenzie and shared all the things they do on their farm across the street. The presentation ended with students making their own butter. @AVRCE_NS

Last Friday, students in Ms. Wright’s grade two class made snow globes with their wishes for human rights. Equality was the theme for this years Human Rights Day. #HumanRightsDay@AVRCE_NS
Day one and two of our 12 Days of Kindness at PWES. On our morning announcements we give a clue and students look for the staff member wearing a shirt that matches that days theme. Spreading cheer through acts of kindness. @AVRCE_NS

Royal Canadian Legion Habitant Branch #73 sent out certificates to this years poster and literary winners. We thank them for their participation and wish them luck as their work is sent on to the provincial level for judging. @AVRCE_NS
