@JasonDevon Although it’s still good to save them and I’m sure there is other utilities beside what I mentioned. For the most part blobs are not useful on most devices at the moment.

@JasonDevon Yeah the bundle can be modified to support any device that has a public bootrom exploit. But with some newer devices even with valid blobs there useless because of hardened security checks such as anti APTicket replay and boot nonce collision hacks

@JasonDevon Jailbreaks and the use of exploits on devices you own is not illegal at all and even jailbreak master jay has fought to support the freedoms of avid jailbreakers. As long as your not using said exploits for illegal Use.

@nitoTV They did this IMO to milk out any remaining public/private known SEP vulnerabilities and close them. Didn’t have to add that migitation but everyone knows apple loves crashing parties involving our freedom to use our devices

@nitoTV You are correct though it’s a lot cheaper and easier just to replace PCB versus have someone professionally reflow and hope it works or the headache of trying to fix and properly reflash signed corrupt low level internal software

@nitoTV I had this happen with a couple of my 3GS exploitable to 24KP, apparently if you halted the system while uploading llb payload you could corrupt NOR. In my experience only way to fix is to reflow with a new chip...or find a way to force true DFU and pray you can fix your mistake

@nitoTV It’s the equivalent of running with a top of the line computer and waking up one day and trading your PC that’s worth 2K+ for a prehistoric outdated imac color that can’t even properly run today’s software. iPads are great mobile tools for on the go but will NEVER beat a PC 100%
