Thunderstorms west of the metro have started to intensify, and are now producing small hail and gusty winds. More development south of the metroplex has begun to initiate.

Because of the drier air in place, there isn't as much of a heat index. However, temperatures are still very warm, currently in the upper 90's. Dew points are a bit lower than yesterday, however they are still in the mid to upper 60's. Stay cool out there! 1:25pm #dfwwx
