@fliegerrick @ukiswitheu I fully support immigration. I don't believe someone should be limited by a lottery of where they happened to be born. And what used to make the UK great was a melting pot of cultures and influences.
@fliegerrick @ukiswitheu People believed we would have NO immigration if they voted Brexit. There was plenty of news at the time from people wanting to stop middle Eastern immigrants, fed by MSM, yet failed to realise that was not a Brexit issue.
@gerrybhoy1954@returningfromt2 @BeckettUnite It was very poor decision making that allowed critical infrastructure to be owned by foreign shareholders, who literally want to milk the nation dry
@returningfromt2@gerrybhoy1954 @BeckettUnite And the majority won't be British pension funds. A lot of utilities are held by Canadian teacher pension funds (Ontario Teachers Pension Plan)
@Copland200@ScottishWidows Ethical investments have outperformed traditional Investments over the last decade. Research is your friend. Resting on your laurels and doing what's always been done will get you (or your pension) left behind.
@JohnWad84222151@ScottishWidows Also, just because fossil fuels will be needed, doesn't mean there aren't better sectors to be investing in. The old ways aren't always the best ways.
@Pilgrim58192938@ScottishWidows Pretty sure they are earning you money. Do you have evidence to suggest they aren't? Or are you a dinosaur who believes that the old ways are the best, and hasn't realised yet that ethical investments are outperforming traditional investment sectors?
@DaveLovesDee@Iloveautumn2 Labour are in no position to win a GE, which is terrifying, as the Tories could take further advantage of all the ineptness through infighting
@DaveLovesDee@Iloveautumn2 Labour are complicit in the shambles that's happening now, as unable to tell what they even stand for anymore, other than heckling Tories, which whilst fun, isn't enough.
