Don't leave anything for later.
Later, the coffee gets cold.
Later, you lose interest.
Later, the day turns into night.
Later, people grow up.
Later, people grow old.
Later, life goes by.
Later, you regret not doing something…
when you had the chance.

It’s why.
It’s why we start companies. It’s why we assemble teams. It’s why we pick up tools.
It’s why we create. It’s why we struggle. It’s why we wonder if it’s all worth it.
It’s why we push. It’s why we claw. It’s why we reach.
Why?
To get somewhere.
But sometimes we get stuck.
Sometimes we wonder if there’s anywhere worth going.
Sometimes we question why it’s worth it.
Then we remember.
To get somewhere.
To get somewhere good.
To get somewhere better.
To get others somewhere.
To get us somewhere.
To get somewhere.
It’s why we get up in the morning. It’s why we work through the day. It’s why we do it all over again tomorrow.
To get somewhere.
It’s the kick. It’s the pull. It’s the drive.
We just want to get somewhere.
Get somewhere.
Let’s go.
Opening a new physical space is always exciting but navigating the constraints can be a real headache.
We've faced it time and time again, budget limitations, tricky locations, landlord approvals, delays and managing a client’s vision within the boundaries of what’s actually possible. It can feel like trying to build a masterpiece with one hand tied behind your back.
Here’s what I’ve learned, constraints are actually a gift. They force you to think in new ways, push your creativity and come up with solutions you never would have considered.
The best designs don’t come from endless freedom
They come from finding the sweet spot between the limitations and the possibilities.
Instead of fighting against the constraints, I’ve learned to embrace them and use them to fuel creativity.
They don’t have to hold you back.
They can take you to places you never thought possible.

@sweatystartup A brilliant reminder.
I’ve 2 kids, 2 and under. Finding the balance is hard but as each day passes that opportunity to spend the time with them is never coming back
@Codie_Sanchez Hello From London.
Smashed the book in 1 sitting.
Hugely insightful and actionable, putting into action now 💪🏾. You heard it here, first deal done by the end of Q1.
I just finished listening to a fascinating conversation between @DanielPriestley and @StevenBartlett on the changing landscape of the new economy. They discussed how traditional assets are being replaced by what they call “new economy assets.”
What stood out to me most was their take on how businesses today are no longer just about physical assets. Instead, social capital, influence, digital products and intellectual property have become some of the most valuable assets in the new economy.
Daniel put it best: “The fundamentals of the economy are dictated by the technology that we have available to us.”
The shift is happening fast. So, I’m curious to know how are you adapting your business model to leverage these new economy assets?

How Forward-Thinking Brands Will Captivate and Connect
Last week I had lunch with a founder who had exited his bar and restaurant business a few years ago. (Funnily enough we use to go this bar all the time in our 20’s)
As we caught up, he told me about his new concept launching in Q2 2025.
“This time,” he said, “I’m doing it differently, with more knowledge, more experience and fewer mistakes.”
That simple statement sparked a bigger conversation about how the industry is changing and the opportunities that forward-thinking brands are seizing.
What struck me wasn’t his just drive but his thinking of the challenges and his approach now with more behind him. He spoke about declining footfall, shifting consumer priorities and the need to stay relevant in an increasingly competitive market; he wasn’t pessimistic. He was laser-focused on the possibilities.
We dove deeper into the trends shaping 2025. And here's what we found…
Sunday Takes the Crown for Restaurant Bookings in 2024
New data from Zonal reveals an interesting trend in the hospitality industry. Sundays are the top booking days for 2024. 90% of the top-booked dates fell on Sundays, with only a few exceptions like Valentine’s Day and the Saturday before Mother’s Day.
According to Zonal’s insights, Sundays are key for dining out, particularly for family gatherings and special occasions. Mother’s Day emerged as the most popular, followed by Father’s Day, Easter Sunday and Valentine’s Day.
