Someone whose life is threatened everyday because of religious hatred and intolerance - he just exercised his right to freedom of expression in a liberal democracy. @SalmanRushdie
I have been to Stockholm, as I was invited to the government's patient board. It was lovely meeting the minister of health, Acko Ankarberg Johansson, @RegeringskanSV, which held the meeting. Told her that @PrematurMirakel is the only Swedish NGO in @PatientAmr.

T4: In schools and kindergarten - teach children the importance of washing their hands by for example showing what #AMR looks like, how easily spread it is and how ill you can get when getting #AMR. Let survivors tell. #theAMRnarrative
Teaching children to always wash their hands after visiting the toilette is vital. I have read some scary statistics that 60% of men only wash their hands after visiting the toilette. #theAMRnarrative
@theAMRnarrative By doing it out of hospital settings you a re preventing from being admitted to hospitaldue to infections but also not spreading it and in hospital you are preventing spreading HAI. It's everyone's responsibility to prevent this.
T2: By washing our hands we are preventing and decreasing the risk of spreading #AMR amongst us, e.g when cooking food, after going to the toilette. #theAMRnarrative
In order to stop #AMR in hospitals, it is vital that the healthcare professionals are given the chance to follow set guidelines for preventing #AMR, like having enough staff. #theAMRnarrative
@WASH_FOR_HEALTH AMR occurs when bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites change over time and no longer respond to medicines making infections harder to treat and increasing the risk of disease spread, severe illness and death. #theAMRnarrative
