Wajid arrested for targeting married women and engaging in “Love Jihad”
Victims file complaints at Kachiguda Police Station.

Wajid (26), a vegetable seller at Golnaka vegetable market in Kachiguda, allegedly collected the mobile numbers of married women visiting the market and sent them obscene messages under the guise of his business.

After he messaged a married woman from Golnaka, her husband beat him up and filed a police complaint. Another married woman also complained that Wajid had previously sent her similar messages, which led to repeated disputes with her husband and eventually their divorce.

Locals claim that checking Wajid’s phone could reveal many more victims.
