@SECOfficiating you mean to tell me that this isn’t Taunting but @Joe_Foucha crossing his arms facing our own sideline away from the player he just hit legally is? Y’all are a flat out joke.
Someone said we need to send him to all sec stadiums for a night game in the fall and he’ll go back to Europe like the apostles spreading the good news 😭
NEW - Scalise slams Ted Cruz's bipartisan college sports bill
"Nobody can credibly say they're going to move a bill to address college athletics and have opposition from the two major college athletic conferences," House Majority Leader Steve Scalise tells @politico
The Louisiana Republican said he appreciated Cruz's work, but made clear there are still "big problems" in the House as it relates to the Senate legislation - including the employment status of student athletes.
"I'm glad they're doing some work on the Senate side, but for the House to be able to take anything up, you got to prevent employment status of the student athletes," Scalise said.
"You also don't want to open up all the schools to lawsuits from trial lawyers that would make a much more litigious environment. Those are things that have been big problems on the House side."
The topic has roiled House Republicans, who had to pull their version of the bill from the floor several times already. Working in House input will be key, Scalise said, if the legislation has any chance of passing Congress.
Last night, LeBron James became the first player in @NBA history to appear in 300 career playoff games. Here is the breakdown of each hundred milestone:
First 100: 2,799 points / 836 rebounds / 684 assists / 173 steals / 95 blocks
Second 100: 2,805 points / 928 rebounds / 677 assists / 184 steals / 91 blocks
Third 100: 2,874 points / 913 rebounds / 796 assists / 148 steals / 100 blocks
Even if you combine any two of these three milestones, still no player in postseason history has reached those counting stats.
not clutch with zero killer instinct, & somehow has the most Clutch-time FGs made in the Playoffs since 96-97, while also having the most game winners in Playoff history. nasty lies have been told about LeBron
This comes to my mind first.
Bo Nix muffing the snap, spiking it backwards (fumble), Arkansas recovering it, which sealed the W for them. The refs spending 20 minutes reviewing it and call it a legal spike.
