中国の人型ロボット業界で巨額の資金が集まっているのはロボット本体だけではありません。

深圳のPAXINIがB++ラウンドで数億元を調達。累計調達額は40億元を超えました。8月にも10億元を調達したばかりです。

この会社を見ていて面白いのは、触覚センサーからスタートして、ロボットハンド、人型ロボット、実世界データ収集、さらにAIモデルまで広げていることです。

人型ロボットというと歩行やVLAに注目が集まりがちですが、実際に仕事をさせようとすると「物をどれくらいの力で握るのか」「滑っていないか」「何かに接触したか」といった物理世界の感覚が必要になります。

PAXINIにはBYDも出資しており、今年8月にはBYDとデータ収集・ロボット分野で戦略提携も締結しました。

最近の中国のフィジカルAIを見ていると、競争は「人型ロボットを作れるか」から、触覚、データ、モデル、実際の作業までをどうつなげるかに移りつつあるように感じます。
