The citizens of Ghana deserve far better than a gutter race where supporters from both parties try to outdo one another in vulgarity. Neither of Your Excellencies would ever allow your own children to engage in such absurdity, so why should the poor Ghanaian child or teenager be encouraged by party members to do the same?
I know that both of Your Excellencies are highly reputable gentlemen, humble enough to hear the concerns of an ordinary, loyal dual Ghanaian citizen.
The time for quiet compliance is over. Both of you alongside the leadership in Parliament must publicly and unequivocally disassociate from and cut ties with the likes of Kelvin Taylor and recently notable NPP supporters who peddle this malice.
Purge this toxic playbook from Ghanaian politics once and for all.
Put Ghana First, because the ordinary Ghanaian child / youth also deserves better.
Respectfully,
A Concerned Ghanaian Citizen

AN OPEN LETTER TO GHANA'S POLITICAL ELITE: END THE POLITICS OF INSULTS AND PUT GHANA FIRST:
Your Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama,
I write to draw your attention to a toxic culture of insults and personal attacks steadily corroding Ghana’s public discourse.
Ghana is suffering from what I describe as Kelvin Taylor Derangement Syndrome (KTDS)a crippling affliction defined by political malice, shamelessness, absurdity, and a pathological obsession with personal attacks.
It manifests where there is no attempt to have meaningful political dialogue, but rather an unhealthy race to see who can out-insult the other through vile, extreme insults, grotesque ridicule, and relentless character assassination.
More concerningly, “KTDS “ does not merely attempt to denigrate a person; it is actively intended to shock the conscience of the ordinary Ghanaian, whose only fault is to casually scroll through their phone and suddenly be confronted with a barrage of disturbing rhetoric.
Instead of curbing this degradation, we are witnessing a disturbing race to the bottom, with some NPP supporters seeming determined to out-perform Kelvin Taylor in producing vile and extreme insults.
This is no longer about Kelvin Taylor, the NPP, or the NDC. It is about the political culture we are fostering, the standards we are normalising, and the legacy we are leaving for the future of our society.
Your Excellency, as the leader of this nation, you have a vital responsibility to help guide our civic values and lead the charge in resetting the tone of our national dialogue.
This responsibility, however, is not yours alone. Respectfully, Your Excellency, while you may not have actively encouraged it, your silence regarding figures like Kelvin Taylor leaves you complicit in the epidemic of KTDS (Kelvin Taylor Derangement Syndrome) that has crippled our nation, allowing his platform to poison our society. Similarly, Dr. Bawumia and the senior leadership of the opposition are also complicit, looking the other way or quickly rallying around party figures and other individuals who try to out-insult Kelvin Taylor the moment the law steps in.
Let us be clear: this is not free speech.
Freedom of expression is a fundamental democratic value, but it cannot become a convenient shield for vile personal abuse, hate speech, character assassination, and the normalisation of extreme political insults.

Apologies for missing you in the initial tags! Wanted to make sure you're looped in here, especially given your platform's connection with the youth and national discourse.

Make it make sense! So telling voters they should wait 10 to 20 years for road infrastructure instead of getting it done quickly is the new strategy? How on earth does this win elections for the NPP? At this point, it genuinely feels like deliberate self-sabotage to stay in opposition. 🤷🏾♂️. Some of you guys are NPP imposters tbh.
@KAgbodza well done for your exemplary leadership! You are truly helping to transform the roads of Ghana. Most of us in the diaspora are really proud to be Ghanaians—the work you are doing is highlighted and deeply appreciated.
While we celebrate these strides, could we please also kindly bring your attention to the East Legon Hills–Santoe road. It is a major road for the community, but work appears to have stalled. We hope this crucial stretch can receive your office's urgent intervention to keep momentum going. Thank You
I think you have missed the point, but thanks for sharing your opinion. Abandoning that project is not an option, and using another eight years for consultation is not an option either! We should be logical thinkers and always put Ghana first. Whether they will steal money to build or however they get it, it is better than leaving it abandoned for another eight years.
I am disappointed. I thought at least you would do better than this! Honestly, I am disappointed. Your trash talk is boring learn from Bawumia BA and I am happy to pay your lesson fees. And, to emphasise once more, my interest is to ensure that animals like you and your family stop defecating on the streets in Ghana, so when we arrive, we can feel comfortable and chill for our holidays. Oh, and I completed only elementary school, but in your entire generation, you can't achieve the lowest of my elementary scores! You carry a PhD certificate that was printed in a market! Claiming that you can read and write only exposes you more. A blisem like you! I will not waste my time on you! Now I understand why Kelvin Taylor and Twene Jonas call the likes of you animal slaves! Ghana First 🇬🇭
Honestly, even with your 3rd-class degree in insults, that’s the best you can do? The foolishness of a poor villager who can't even score a passing mark in trash-talking! You can't even execute gutter insults properly better go to Bawumia BA for extra lessons. Such a slave. An ignoramus like you, as foolish as you are, thinks everyone cares about party politics in Ghana. We just want to ensure that animals like you stop defecating on the streets so when we come to Ghana, we can at least stay in a comfortable, developed country for our holidays! When you learn to read and write, come back. Until you go and meet Bawumia BA to teach you how to be effective at street-level trash-talking, I won't waste my time on you.
Eii! You used 8 YEARS to consult the private sector? Seriously? 😂
Okay, well done! Ghanaians are so proud of you. 👏🏾
It’s very difficult to honestly understand the NPP sometimes!
8 YEARS = 2,922 DAYS!
You used all that time “consulting the private sector”? Wow
And now you want to take credit for a project that was abandon in those 8 years and is only now scheduled to be completed!
This is 2026. In today’s digital world, Ghanaians are more informed than you think. Must you comment on everything?
When you make claims like this, you are not helping your party. You are insulting the intelligence of the good people of Ghana and making your own party increasingly unpopular.
True to form, you never disappoint in displaying your ignorance and foolishness; the hallmark of a colonized poor uncultured villager . While others are earning PhDs abroad, you're earning a degree in gutter insults. Come back when you've learned to read and write; until then, stay in your lane.
Bro, well done! We agree, but what about the 8 years you guys were in power? Please enlighten us about the Ghana gold trade, its profits and losses. What some of us can’t understand is that for 8 years we never heard of any accountability regarding Ghana gold sales! Did you just learn this brilliant math?
