@AbidemiBlognese@Optimus_Dracula Yeah but what kind of spirit is behind that? Because yes, music invokes. But this is definitely not the Holy Spitit of God.

I used to hear “backsliding” a lot in my first weeks as a born-again Christian.
I asked what it meant. They said: “Going back to your old life before Christ.”
That disturbed me. How can I go back when I’ve been saved and redeemed?
So I promised myself: "Never. I’m never returning to my old life."
Fast-forward six months… disaster struck.
One compromise led to another. Prayer became rare. The fire died. I slipped right back.
The guilt was crushing. I felt like a failure — maybe I was never truly saved.
But this is what I’ve learned:
The Christian walk is not a feel-good thing.
“You must work out your salvation with fear and trembling.”
Constantly renew your mind with the Word of God. My mind was wired to old desires for 20+ years — it won’t change overnight.
Never slack on prayer.
Not everyone is happy with your new life. Forces from your old cycles will fight you. Even some in the new cycle can be used against you.
Like the Ghanaian adage: “If an ant will bite you, it can only be found in your cloth.”
Guard your heart. Stay close to God. This journey is daily, not one-time.
If you’ve ever backslid or felt stuck — you’re not alone.

God is still working on you. Keep going. 🙏
