Officers will be raising awareness of our work to tackle violence, abuse and intimidation of women and girls this week. There are drop in events at colleges & universities around the County. We are also working with licensed premises, hotels and taxi firms to provide training.
Often shopworkers feel they should tackle those caught stealing. Our training video on 'Dealing and interacting with suspected thieves' can help them take positive action without putting themselves in danger.

If you’re planning to pop to the town to do some festive shopping this week be alert to potential pickpockets as they find it easier to target people in the busy shopping season.
