@Vet_Parasites I wouldn’t refer to this as a heavy infection rather as a heavy egg burden. Number of eggs doesn’t translate into establishment rate in the host
@Vet_Parasites Please note that you cannot distinguish these from Echinococcus spp., so the more accurate diagnosis would be Taenia-type or taeniid eggs

@Vet_Parasites Please note that this could be Toxocara cati as it can be difficult to differentiate these two species based on egg morphology. Also, because T. leonina also uses félida as definitive hosts, I would not discard coprophagia and these just being spurious parasites in this dog
