@Fresh_BongJuice@IllariaDiMar Each pregnancy is a different sperm, a different egg so a different body and different mind. Or all siblings would be identical.
@wil_da_beast630 Why would the right wing handle it? The whole point is parents look after their children. And why do you care about their lives if you don't even care if they're killed in the womb? Utterly incoherent.
@Fresh_BongJuice@IllariaDiMar Of course if you don't think they're people then abortion for any reason is fine. For me it's enough to think that if my Mum had an abortion I wouldn't be here talking to you to realise foetuses and people are the sane thing.
@Lydskia@kymeriandawn There's something of a middle ground between killing children and unicorns and rainbows. At least I think we should try to make the world better.
@NoInjustice613@HereC57131@kymeriandawn You don't understand that stopping someone being killed doesn't mean I have to then look after and pay for the victim. That's not hypocrisy.
@Fresh_BongJuice@IllariaDiMar So people should do what they like even if others die for it? You have to explain why that's morally okay; you can't just say it's what they prefer and leave it at that.
@Lydskia@kymeriandawn I understand the point but it's a terrible point. If protection of life is paramount, you try your best. That might mean more state help, more community help or a change in culture where parents look after their children. Killing is no answer to suffering, but giving in to it.
@Fresh_BongJuice@IllariaDiMar And if a child does become paralysed should they then be killed because they'd be an eternal child that's too much of a burden? I think your argument is based on one assumption; that the unborn - disabled or not - are worth less.
@Fresh_BongJuice@IllariaDiMar But this person was already produced, was already alive. If we can reduce defects without killing anyone then sure, why not?
