Dear football,
Today, I want to share with you that this season will be my last as a professional footballer. After so many years living my dream, I feel it’s time to start a new chapter in my life.
Being honest, even though I have been preparing myself for this moment, I found it hard to write this letter. After 20 seasons , many people have played an important role in my career.
When I first kicked a ball as a child in Pamplona with my schoolmates, I never imagined the amazing journey ahead. I’m grateful for every moment: the wins, the tough losses, the challenges, and most of all, the people I’ve met and the friendships I’ve made along the way.
To my teammates, coaches, and every staff member at all the clubs I’ve been lucky to be part of, thank you for helping me grow as a person and a player every day. Wearing the shirts of CA Osasuna, Olympique Marseille, Chelsea FC, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, and representing my country at the biggest stages has been a true privilege. Every moment has meant so much to me…
A true honour and privilege to be pitch-side presenting for @FCBarcelona as we beat Real Madrid in El Clásico to clinch our 29th La Liga title. I dreamt of days like these when I was a kid. Thank you to those who put the trust in me. Dream come true. Visca el Barça! 💙❤️🏆
Only 25 minutes into this PSG vs Bayern clash and it’s already been brilliant. So much quality on show. Not sure I’ve seen two teams this good go up against each other. Kvaratskhelia is an unbelievable player also by the way. Luis Díaz not far behind. Quality all over the park.
Connecteu el canal de Youtube del @FCBarcelona_cat! Us esperem amb els primers minuts de l’entrenament previ al Barça-Atlético de Champions! I després build-up amb les rodes de premsa de Flick i Cancelo. Us ho expliquem amb @lltarres i @PabloWBlanco!

Barça really suffered tonight but credit to Pau Cubarsí who continues to shine in leading this Barça backline at just 19. Remarkable talent. Gerard Martín doing a good job next to him too, and Cancelo is proving his quality. Also - watch out for Xavi Espart - he’ll be a gem here!

Well, it wasn’t to be. Immensely proud of the team. We are class to watch under Hansi Flick. 4-0 from the first leg was simply too much, but the energy generated from everyone tonight was wonderful. A night to remember. Cubarsí, Cancelo, Bernal, Pedri all immaculate. Bona nit.
Lamine scores his first career hat-trick and fires Barça to a big home win against Villarreal. What an unbelievable footballer. Serious footballer. Best I’ve commentated on. 🪄
Great to be back presenting alongside @lltarres for @FCBarcelona as today marked the return of Portuguese full-back João Cancelo to the club. A boost for Hansi Flick ahead of a vital second half of the season with three titles still in play. 🔵🔴🇵🇹
