🚨 Valve needs to release the Steam Frame TOMORROW!

Every week they wait, the odds of it becoming another $1,000+ Steam Machine get higher.

• Qualcomm has notified customers that double-digit price increases are coming due to rising component costs.
• The broader PC industry is already dealing with ongoing memory and component shortages.
• Rising hardware costs have already pushed prices higher across PCs, smartphones, and gaming devices.
• Valve has previously acknowledged that component costs have affected its hardware pricing strategy.

If Valve wants the Steam Frame to succeed, pricing is everything. The longer they wait, the greater the risk that rising component costs force a higher MSRP.

If it launches too expensive, it risks facing the same criticism the Steam Machine did. That’s a possibility worth keeping in mind given current industry cost pressures, even though Valve hasn’t announced Steam Frame pricing yet.
