The Government of India selected Grace as a National Youth Icon in recognition of her achievements. Through this platform, she will help spread awareness among young people about government schemes, opportunities, and the importance of youth participation in nation-building.

Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India selected a young achiever from Mizoram, Ms Grace Lalrinpari Hauzel of Khatla, Aizawl, as a National Youth Icon under the Vikshit Bharat Yuva Connect initiaitive. Grave is currently studying at Pachhunga University College.

In January, she participated in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 in New Delhi and also took part as an Indian Youth Delegate at the SOUL Global Conclave. Earlier, she had won 1st prize in the State-level National Youth Parliament 2024

OBITUARY
Puc fraternity is deeply saddened to hear the demise of our beloved Dr. S. Homchaudhury, former vice-principal of the college, and head of the department of Education. The college offers condolences to the bereaved family of Dr. Homchaudhury.

Her journey in pageantry began early, when she was selected among the top ten contestants in the College Miss Contest in 2021.

She is now expected to represent India in one of the prestigious international pageants: Miss Global or Miss Eco International.

Congratulations to Our Alumna Vanlalnuntluangi, a distinguished alumna from the 2022 batch of Education Core, who has emerged as the first runner-up in Miss Grand India 2025. Tluangi also won two major sub-titles — Best in Swimsuit and Miss Social Media.
