Honestly, I never thought I’d have to write something like this, but please, if you’re not sure you can afford a character, don’t place a bid 🥺

I know it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement, but for many artists this income is our only source of support and something we truly rely on. It helps us pay rent, buy food, cover medical expenses, support our families and take care of our pets 💔

This month alone, I’ve had 6 characters that were never paid for, and honestly, it’s been really difficult. The past few months have already been very unstable, and situations like this are a big part of why. It’s incredibly discouraging because when someone places a bid and can’t follow through, it also means someone else who genuinely wanted the character and could afford it may have lost the chance...
