@JohnHowardRoar1@TechOperator We "dispose" of billions of tons of fuel per year by literally burning it. Meanwhile, recyclers can recover around 95% of key materials in batteries. 95-99% of batteries produced are still in use. You know the richest source of nickel, cobalt, lithium? (Hint: it's not the ground)
@Skate_a_book I have delivered 75 kWh to my pack. This is not rocket science. Regardless, your 33.3% degradation claim goes against every single battery health study and fleet data. And EPA is not always optimistic. Plenty of cars achieve more than EPA including mine.
@danfarnsy@paytondev Less intuitive than 2mi/kwh to 4mi/kWh being a 2x in efficiency just like 1mi/kWh to 2mi/kWh. You think we should measure using a metric where 2x efficiency doesn't look like 2x efficiency? We don't measure CPU perf in seconds per calc or network speed in hours per download.
@Ben_W_Ritter@davepl1968 Great, I hope you consult all the resources available to you. Especially all the comprehensive tire performance testing available online for free!
