fair. here's what we're building at Packmon to do this better.

packs only feel fair when you can see what's in them. so every card in every pack is listed with its TCGplayer price and its odds before you open. nothing hidden.

every pack has a floor. the cheapest card in our $25 pack is worth $12.57. in our $500 pack it's $254. no pack hands you a card worth pennies.

every pull is a real near-mint Pokémon card. keep it, sell it back within 72 hours, or we ship it to your door free. packs start at $5, so you don't need $25 just to try one.

we built in the boring stuff that matters too: daily and weekly spend limits the site actually enforces, and self-exclusion that can't be shortened once it's on.

not going to pretend we've solved it. most pulls still come in under the pack price, here too. that's what we're working on next: better odds on every pack, more rare cards in the mix, and a higher average card value. every change shows on the pack page before you open, so you can check our work.

Pumpfun is always finding innovative ways to make its users lose money.

You can now lose money on Pumpfun without even trading a memecoin.

They added Gacha packs where you pay to open random Pokémon, One Piece and other trading cards.

Around $2M worth of packs were opened almost immediately.

And based on hundreds of thousands of Collector Crypt pack openings, only about 29% of packs have returned at least what the user paid.

So roughly 7 out of every 10 pack openings are losers.
