This season needs to be studied because it started out with a heavy hand from production to keep Dee and Devens safe, which made most of the newbies (plus Angela) either fangirl or hate them but take a backseat feeling helpless.

I hope CBS never does this again.

Devens is smarmy enough to hold his own, socially, and Dee is badass enough to hold her own too. They never should have gotten all those advantages at the start.

And if we get over the initial shock of Dee staying last night, and put ourselves in the shoes of Yash and Taylor…

They put in a ton of work this week thinking about all scenarios because Barrett went into hiding and Melody/Drew got horny and the three isolated all week.

On the surface, it’s a bad idea to keep Dee in the game, but Yash and Taylor are clearly thinking purely in numbers right now and want to be four strong against the FLOP 3. Barrett can’t compete for HOH so that drops the flops down to two.

Keeping Angela, who doesn’t get along with Devens, was risky because Angela is a fake ass coaster nobody. Keeping Dee felt safer short-term because she’s displayed her desire to destroy Drew and Barrett and has already put Drew up before.

Only time will tell, but Yash and Taylor also know that Dee and Devens are bigger targets than they themselves are. Would I have kept Dee? Fack no. But I can see why Yash and Taylor would to get through this week. They’re playing week to week. Not the way I’d play but there are multiple ways to play and win this game. #BB28
