Life goes on for Ebony, diapers or not.

By this point in her young life, they're very much a part of her.

Those that don't know her will mutter disparaging words or gestures.

But those that do or take the time to find a kind, smart, loving, sometimes silly friend.

Something pointy.

Whatever Ebony feels in her hooves as she opens her eyes is not a pillow, a plushie, or something soft and comfortable. It feels like....a book?

It seems like she had fallen asleep with a book in her hooves?

In the morning, her diapers will be changed.

In the morning, her mama and daddy will assure her of their unconditional love and care.

In the morning, she resumes the fun adventure of the novel she was reading.

Amber, Cocoa, Lemon, and other friends might come calling.

The path to be a star student is long and difficult, but she is ready to take it.

One class at a time.

One assignment at a time.

......one diaper change at a time.

She wanted to be in school, even if it was hard.

She wanted to be around other students, even if a lot of them either ignore her or tease her.

She wanted to have that routine once again of going to school. A chance to be somewhat her age despite her babyish appearance.
