Last night I spoke to @SimonHarrisTD to inform him that I would not be making myself available to serve in cabinet when the Dáil resumes next week. I’ll continue to work as a proud TD for Cork South Central and will of course actively support the Government in the Dáil.
Leo Varadkar was a very decisive Taoiseach who showed true leadership, particularly in the Brexit negotiations and the Covid-19 crisis. History will be kind to him and he will certainly be a hard act to follow. @LeoVaradkar@FineGael
Quick reminder that our #fundraiser for Crocus is still ongoing! Please pledge a few Euro if you can to support a very worthwhile cause (and see the branch go climbing!)

@AnMailleach@LeoVaradkar@Independent_ie Snap November election after a giveaway October budget not more likely? Varadkar won’t want to make the same mistake Kenny made by not calling it in 2015
@Cian_Domican @yfg@fiannafailparty Can you explain why it’s only now the lowest unemployment level since then, did something else happen inbetween then under FF 🤔🤔.
Also not to mention FG now leads the govt as it holds the Taoiseachs office, I know FF and facts don’t normally go in the same sentence, keep trying!
@cillian_molloy1 The Anglo-Irish Agreement, which gave the Republic its first ever say in NI affairs, was introduced by FG aswell in 85. Crooked Haughey called it a disgrace in opposition and then said it was entirely his idea when he got into power.
