@LancashireCC @LancasterCC Thank you. It shouldn't really trouble me, because I don't drive, but things appear to be escalating as cars get larger - and as you can see, it's your own school bus services (to the Loyne School) that are being affected as well.

@LancashireCC First week of the return to school in Lancaster and already the Lonsdale Bus no 8 service is off route because Borwick Drive must be blocked and is struggling down Bowland Drive, as is your own school bus to the Loyne! We need parking restrictions. @LancasterCC

@RhonddaBryant In Lancashire A Conservative Council blamed the previous Labour Council for cuts to bus services. In Kent, a few years later cuts to bus services were blamed on the last Labour Government. It doesn't matter who gets in, buses will always be the ultimate policy blaming football.

Is anyone out there in Brexitland concerned that the UK is being carved up into 74 SEZs and 12 Freeports, all deregulated free zones with separate laws, 10 year tax breaks, State aid subsidies of £160 million per zone, and licenses for the next 25 years?
Do you know what this means for your communities, public services, and councils already decimated by decades of calculated underfunding?
Do you not care that collective sovereignty (people power) is being replaced with corporate sovereignty inside the zones where you and your families live?
Don't you see what's happening here? Mass compulsory purchase orders are going ahead in Birmingham, their council was issued with an S114 notice, technically bankruptcy. 192 councils with higher debts than Birmingham will follow suit, public assets will be absorbed by private equity, this is the corporate coup that Brexit opened the floodgates, but let's not talk about right?
The UK is being privatised by the duopoly and it's all down to Brexit, it gets worse, you are paying for all this.

The £160 million figure is State aid (public money) and that goes to businesses setting up inside the zones, multiplied by 74 SEZs = £11 billion 840 million. Interesting that so many SEZs are clustered together in what was once a Tory stronghold of Cornwall given that each SEZ receives £160 million in State aid. Cornwall now has 4 Labour MPs and 2 Lib Dems. BTW UK SEZs contravene EU laws and regulations on State aid, 'the EU Parliament stresses that State aid should support ecological transformation and foster the development of services, knowledge, and infrastructure rather than providing support to specific companies' Licenses for the zones are set at 25 years with tax breaks for 10 years. Labour backed this Tory initiative as board members of Sunak and Truss's SEZs/Freeports consortia.
