@stweyg@CillianSheridan They beat Haiti and conceded inside 2 minutes vs Morocco for playing too high a line. A lot of what’s getting thrown around is a bit of a myth
@ell_watt00 Worst VAR decision was Iheanacho got a goal ruled out in Europe for a phantom handball where the ball was no where near his hand. At least last nights the ball actually looks like it hit his hand
@DrMcHeid@kilwinning1967@chris_sutton73 You can explain it in a thousand words, I’m just saying it looks like it hit his hand 😂 a different camera angle is required because it’s splits peoples views. Funnily all Celtic fans see one way, and others see it the other way . What are the chances…
@colinmufc2 At higher standard of football you’ll see it but Scottish league players aren’t as skilled so they will jump for headers more amateur like and you’ll see more handball incidents like these at this level
@colinmufc2 Yeah it’s possible but difficult, it’s a skill that’s part of the game. Also a skill is quick decision making like is it worth it jumping for this ball? Is jumping for this ball going to require my hands high in the air and vulnerable to conceding a handball foul?
@DrMcHeid@kilwinning1967@chris_sutton73 I think it clearly is in the pic. Each to their own I guess. You should know by now VAR for years has ruined the sport. It’s probably increased the average controversial incidents per game.
@DrMcHeid@kilwinning1967@chris_sutton73 It’s there in the pic , it’s 100% hit his hand. It’s just a case of , accidental/was it natural/unnatural all that nonsense Re the rules. It’s crazy and incident like that could happen in the final minute - he shouldn’t be jumping with his hand up like that, just runs the risk
@ScttC72@thedavidcurrie@The_Tman10 Yes I am very new to football. I have just read up on the rules. Can you clarify what I am reading is correct and describe what happened in the clip? Ta in advance
