One of the repeated mistakes made in using VR for learning is assuming it's all about teaching "hard" skills. What's incredibly effective, particularly with disadvantaged learners, is using VR to cultivate acceptance and confidence in those who have neither.
The best kind of employees are lifelong learners. But anxiety, fear of tests & written instructions can get in the way.

A minister interested in learning and technology? Progress maybe...the VocTech (vocational technology) sector needs more of it to push forward all the really interesting work in this area. @UfiTrust@UfiVentures#Bett2022#EdTech#VocTech.
I've always enjoyed a bit of thoughtful provocation. The education/training sector needs more of it, particularly in the area of vocational technology (VocTech). So I really love this kind of statement, from Tom Duff of City of Glasgow college. @PaddyfromFrome
🍾🍾Congratulations Autolive for winning "Skills Innovation of the Year" at the #EnginuitySkillsAwards last night. A brilliant #voctech project for manufacturing skills. Well done to the team from @nwslc_official.

Ufi calls on policymakers and the Government to ensure the UK’s #education system places more focus on the importance of vocational #learning and the technology that supports it.

This is interesting. A perceptive look into how "new" technology, and potentially inspiring visions can, might, could, will....be corrupted. I wonder where this is heading?
