As the Platoon Sergeant Battle course has came to a close, I have to say that this was the best battle course I've ever been on. It teached me a lot about self confidence and I hope I can grow better as a Junior NCO.
Over the last few weeks, the 1st Battalion deployed to Sierra Leone to combat both humanitarian and combat operations. They now return to the red line for a busy period of public duties, including the King's coronation and Trooping the Colour.
As a Section Commander, it makes me happy when I am leading my Section in the Field. Deployment No.2.
After much Training in Britain, the 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards are deployed to Sierra Leone, this has to be the most interesting deployment as we are now in the Jungle. Anticipation is at an all time high!
