Donald Trump intends to give his disgraced former 2016 campaign manager Paul Manafort a role in his 2024 re-election campaign, the WaPo reports.

In 2018, a jury in Virginia found him guilty on eight of 18 counts in his tax and bank fraud trial, related to work Manafort did for pro-Kremlin politicians in Ukraine. He was sentenced to 7½ years in March 2019. Trump pardoned his corrupt campaign manager in late December 2020.
