Day 7/30 - Learning Photoshop
Today, I recreated this flyer I found on YouTube.
I learned that lighting matters a lot. You can nail the product and layout, but if shadows and highlights don't match, nothing feels real.
This was a stretch but I pulled through😊
Day 8 in view🥳
Day 5/30 – Learning Photoshop
Today's design came together faster than I expected.
A few days ago, I would've spent more time figuring things out. Today, I was able to trust what I've been learning and enjoy the process.
Slowly getting better.
On to Day 6.
Day 4/30 – Learning Photoshop
This is one of those designs I've wanted to recreate.
It looked easy until I had to get the colours, lighting, and orange slice to blend naturally.
Today's lessons: Rectangular Marquee Tool, Colour Balance, and Dodge & Burn.
See you on Day 5
Day 3/30: Learning Photoshop
Today, I recreated this flyer from YouTube.
I learned how to transform images to fit different angles.
The curved photo layout was the most challenging, but every retry was worth it.
Three days in, and I'm already seeing progress.
Day 4 in view..
Day 2/30 – Learning Photoshop
Today, I recreated this flyer I saw on YouTube.
I learned how to use the Gradient Tool and how to manipulate typography by stretching the letters to create a more dynamic look.
No challenges today, just learning and improving.
See you on day 3
The saddest thing about youth unemployment is that many young people did exactly what society told them to do: study, qualify, work hard. Yet opportunities remain out of reach.

I'm excited this is finally out.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
During Mothering Sunday Mass today, the priest asked mothers to share what motherhood means to them.
First woman grabbed the mic like she had been waiting all year.
Three minutes.
It was Beautiful, Emotional and Half the church was almost crying.
Then she said “I want to specially appreciate my husband who has been my rock through everything.”
The she Paused.
“Baby stand up Let everybody see you.”
Silence.
“Papa Amanda Stand up.”!!!
Her daughter whispered something but unfortunately the Mic was close to her 😂
“Daddy is outside, He said the mass is too long.”
Everyone Laughed so hard.😂
Then she smiled and said “God is still working on him, Please clap for his potential.”
The roof came off.
Emeka walked in immediately carrying a meat pie with no idea what had happened.
The whole church rose to their feet and started clapping.
He thought it was a coincidence.
Waved and sat down next to his wife.
She smiled at him so sweetly.
He will find out what that smile meant when they get home. 😂
