As part of the initiative, UCO Bank has pledged to voluntarily plant 11,000 saplings across West Bengal during FY 2026–27 under 'Ekti Gaach, Maayer Naame!', aligned with the national campaign 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam', during Aranya Saptah 2026 at Eden Gardens,Kolkata

The MoU signing ceremony was graced by the august presence of Shri Dibakar Gharami, Hon'ble Minister of State, Department of Forest, Government of West Bengal; Shri Rajendra Kumar Saboo, Managing Director & CEO (I/C), UCO Bank and Shri Manish Jain, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Forest, Government of West Bengal, along with other Bank officials.

The MoU was exchanged between Shri Amit Srivastava, General Manager, UCO Bank, and Shri Raju Das, IFS, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Finance), Department of Forests, Government of West Bengal & State Nodal Officer.
