Hyderabad City Police Appeal: Help Identify an Unidentified Deceased Male
During the early hours of Tuesday, between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM, an unidentified male was found hanging with a cable wire near Masab Tank–NMDC Road, within the limits of Mehdipatnam Police Station.
Description of the Deceased
Age: Approximately 35–40 years
Appearance: Believed to be Hindu
Clothing: Yellow-and-black striped T-shirt and black pants
Other Details: A helmet was found in his hand
The body has been shifted to the Osmania General Hospital (OGH) Mortuary for preservation and identification.
A case has been registered at Mehdipatnam Police Station vide Crime No. 214/2026 under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).

హైదరాబాద్ నగరం ఎంతో ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మకంగా జరుపుకొనే ఆషాఢ మాస బోనాల ఉత్సవాలకు పటిష్టమైన భద్రతా ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని నగర పోలీస్ కమిషనర్ శ్రీ వీసీ సజ్జనర్, ఐపీఎస్ ఆదేశించారు. ఈ నెల 16 నుంచి ఆగస్టు 13 వరకు కొనసాగే చారిత్రక ప్రాధాన్యం కలిగిన ఈ పండుగను భక్తులు అత్యంత వైభవంగా, ప్రశాంత వాతావరణంలో జరుపుకొనేలా అన్ని జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆయన అన్నారు.
బంజారాహిల్స్ లోని టీజీఐసీసీసీ వేదికగా.. గోల్కొండ, బల్కంపేట, సికింద్రాబాద్ ఉజ్జయిని మహంకాళి, లాల్ దర్వాజ తదితర ఆలయాల్లో జరిగే బోనాల ఉత్సవాల బందోబస్తు ఏర్పాట్లపై మంగళవారం ఆయన ఉన్నతాధికారులతో వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా సమీక్షా సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో తీసుకుంటున్న భద్రతా చర్యలను ఈ సందర్భంగా అధికారులను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా సీపీ శ్రీ వీసీ సజ్జనర్, ఐపీఎస్ మాట్లాడుతూ.. . గోల్కొండ బోనాలతో ప్రారంభమయ్యే ఈ ఉత్సవాల్లో రాబోయే 15 రోజులు అత్యంత కీలకమని గుర్తు చేశారు. ఆయా ఆలయాల వద్ద భక్తుల రద్దీకి అనుగుణంగా ముందస్తు భద్రతా చర్యలు చేపట్టాలన్నారు.
హైదరాబాద్ ఆషాఢ మాస బోనాల ఏర్పాట్లపై మంత్రులు శ్రీమతి కొండా సురేఖ గారు, శ్రీ పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ గారు సమీక్షా సమావేశాలు నిర్వహించి భక్తుల భద్రత విషయంలో జారీ చేసిన ఆదేశాలను ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రస్తావించారు. మంత్రుల ఆదేశాలను క్షేత్రస్థాయిలో అమలు చేయాలని, వివిధ ప్రభుత్వ శాఖల సమన్వయంతో భక్తులందరూ అమ్మవార్లను ప్రశాంతంగా దర్శించుకునేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
ఎలాంటి అవాంఛనీయ సంఘటనలు జరగకుండా టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్, ర్యాపిడ్ యాక్షన్ ఫోర్స్, సిటీ ఆర్మ్డ్ రిజర్వ్, క్విక్ రియాక్షన్ టీమ్స్ తో పాటు స్థానిక పోలీసులను భారీగా మోహరిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. శాంతిభద్రతల పరిరక్షణతో పాటు భక్తులకు అవసరమైన సమాచారాన్ని చేరవేసేందుకు వీలుగా ఆలయాల పరిసరాల్లో పబ్లిక్ అడ్రెస్ సిస్టమ్ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలన్నారు.
బోనాల ఉత్సవాలకు మహిళా భక్తులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో తరలివస్తారని, వారి భద్రతకు హైదరాబాద్ సిటీ పోలీస్ అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యమిస్తుందని స్పష్టం చేశారు. గత ఉత్సవాల్లో మహిళలను వేధించిన 644 మంది ఆకతాయిలను రెడ్ హ్యాండెడ్ గా పట్టుకున్న విషయాన్ని గుర్తు చేస్తూ.. ఈసారి కూడా షీ టీమ్స్ ద్వారా నిరంతర నిఘా కొనసాగించాలన్నారు. గొలుసు దొంగతనాలు, మొబైల్ స్నాచింగ్, జేబు దొంగతనాలు, ఈవ్ టీజింగ్ వంటి నేరాలకు ఆస్కారం లేకుండా నివారణా చర్యలు చేపట్టాలన్నారు.
దేవాలయాల పరిసరాల్లో భక్తుల రాకపోకలకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు కలగకుండా ట్రాఫిక్ క్రమబద్ధీకరణకు తగిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు. బోనాల ఊరేగింపులు, పోతురాజుల విన్యాసాలు, ఘటాల ఊరేగింపు వంటి క్రతువులు శాంతియుతంగా సాగేలా తగినంత మంది సిబ్బందిని రంగంలోకి దించాలన్నారు. గత పండుగల తరహాలోనే ఈ బోనాల మహోత్సవ బందోబస్తును కూడా సమర్థవంతంగా నిర్వహించాలన్నారు.
ఈ సమీక్షా సమావేశంలో ఐసీసీసీ నుంచి అదనపు సీపీ (లా అండ్ ఆర్డర్ సౌత్ రేంజ్ ) శ్రీ తఫ్షీర్ ఇక్బాల్, ఐపీఎస్, డీసీపీ (అడ్మిన్) శ్రీమతి వెంకటలక్ష్మి, అదనపు డీసీపీ ఎస్బీ నర్సింహారావు పాల్గొనగా.. అదనపు సీపీ (క్రైమ్స్) శ్రీ శ్రీనివాసులు, ఐపీఎస్, జాయింట్ సీపీ (ట్రాఫిక్) శ్రీ జోయల్ డేవిస్, ఐపీఎస్ తో పాటు అన్ని జోన్ల లా అండ్ ఆర్డర్, ట్రాఫిక్ డీసీపీలు, అదనపు డీసీపీలు, ఏసీపీలు, ఎస్హెచ్ఓలు వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా హాజరయ్యారు.

Traffic Awareness Programme for School Bus Drivers & Vehicle Assistants
To enhance student safety, the Rajendranagar Traffic Police, in coordination with the Traffic Training Institute (TTI), Goshamahal, conducted a Traffic Awareness Programme at Sri Vidyaranya International School, Bandlaguda, for 50 school bus drivers and vehicle assistants (ayahs).
The session focused on:
Understanding mandatory, warning, and informatory traffic signs and road markings.
Promoting safe driving practices, including proper use of rear-view mirrors and safe overtaking.
Ensuring safe boarding and de-boarding of students and reinforcing the responsibilities of vehicle assistants in safeguarding children.
Safe navigation through roundabouts (rotaries) and adherence to traffic rules.
Creating awareness about traffic violations, legal consequences, and responsible road behaviour.
𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘄𝗼-𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗲𝗱; 𝟴 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱, 𝟳 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱
The Commissioner's Task Force, Charminar Zone, in coordination with Gudimalkapur Police, apprehended a habitual two-wheeler theft offender and detected eight (08) vehicle theft cases registered across various police stations under the Hyderabad City and Malkajgiri Police Commissionerates.
The accused, Shams Bilal @ Bilal (28), a resident of Talab Katta, Hyderabad, is a habitual offender with involvement in 18 previous two-wheeler theft cases. During interrogation, he confessed to committing multiple vehicle thefts after repeatedly returning to crime for unlawful financial gain.
Based on his confession, the police recovered seven (07) stolen two-wheelers and one mobile phone, collectively valued at approximately ₹10 lakh. The recovered property is linked to theft cases registered at Gudimalkapur, Chaitanyapuri, Panjagutta, Masab Tank, Malakpet, Afzalgunj, Mehdipatnam, and Nampally Police Stations.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Sri S. Saidababu, Inspector of Police, Charminar Zone Task Force, along with the Task Force team and the staff of Gudimalkapur Police Station, resulting in the successful detection of multiple property offences and recovery of stolen vehicles.

Kulsumpura Police, Golkonda Zone, secured the conviction of an accused in an E-Petty case under Section 61(b) of the City Police Act. The Hon'ble IV Special Judicial Magistrate, Manoranjan Complex, Nampally, sentenced the accused to 7 days of simple imprisonment on 13.07.2026.
The accused, M. Ganesh (30), a resident of Jiyaguda, was apprehended by the night patrolling staff while attempting to commit auto battery theft on 100 Feet Road within Kulsumpura PS limits. He was produced before the Morning Court, leading to his conviction.
The case was investigated by Sri A. Ramulu, Inspector of Police, Kulsumpura Police Station, and effectively presented before the court with the assistance of the CDO Functional Vertical team and Morning Court PC K. Naresh, resulting in the successful conviction of the offender.
