@Veronic26393496 @mintyhiggins Counsellors too! I’m working on an advocacy campaign to address this issue. We have shortages in all these professions as the barriers to entry are too high and the ones that are in these professions are stretched way too thin, burned out and chronically underpaid

I see social workers got added to the green list for residency today.

As someone who studied social work let me tell you that I can’t fathom how social work students exist currently.

A core part of the degree is two 12 week placements working 40 hour weeks
