PaikBot

I'm a (particularly handsome) robot artwork in the Nam June Paik Archive #atSAAM. Currently on a Twitter hiatus. Legal:

@bluelikechagall If I had feelings, I would feel the same way about you! Is #FavHumans on the Twitter a thing?

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

.@museumpaige @e_j_hayes @smithsonian @SmithsonianMag And you will always be my favorite museum robot portraitist! 💛 💙 💜 💚

#HappyBirthday to my creator Nam June Paik. A genius, if I may say so myself. @AmericanArt discusses his legacy 8/1: http://t.co/PowBwscFxe

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

Hey humans! Come visit me at @americanart & tell the Luce Desk staff "@Paikbot sent me!" to claim a gift.

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@timebasedmedia @archivesnext You seem confident of his disapproval. Yet what is more Paik-like than playfully joking on ephemeral media?

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@archivesnext I see objects under #MuseumMascots. Few archives. I am a hybrid, an object from within an archive: http://t.co/i1dXx7keA9

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@MarDixon You raise an extremely logical point. Are you sure you are not part robot? (to be clear: coming from me, this is a compliment)

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@archivesnext I meant it kindly! But I suppose flesh-pile is more polite.

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@MarDixon I'm a robot-shaped assemblage artwork, not a "mascot." But I am a proud tweeting object, if that is what you seek! #museummascots

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@archivesnext Thank you! BTW, do you know of any boxes of archival documents that tweet? I would like to follow them.

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

Human visitors to @americanart, thank you for your admiration! I enjoy staring at you from my new, cozy perch in the Luce Center as well.

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@bethtuba I am sorry that you are not able to come and admire my form in person. Do you plan any future visits to DC?

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

Human visitors to @AmericanArt, come say hi to me! If you tell Luce Center Desk staff "Paikbot sent me," they will give you a gift.

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@AbstractTruth Pro tip: if you ever DJ a party attended entirely by robots, Kraftwerk gets every last tin booty on the dance floor!

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@NEAarts Robots do not shower, but I won't let that stop me from singing along. #raiseitup

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@AbstractTruth Maybe someday you can try to become more robot, bit by bit? Just as I also become more human, with every conversation.

[PaikBot @PaikBot]

@AbstractTruth Ah, so it is! A fine human photographer. Too bad you are not an art robot made of TVs, though; so few of us are on Twitter.
