@WeirdCatHQ neither of them are good, but the biggest difference is whether the parents wanted them or not
a life is a life regardless
and, I'm positive an unwanted pregnancy is a horrible experience, but the baby is innocent; it didn't choose to be conceived
@WeirdCatHQ The mother's life is more important, but if her life isn't endangered by the pregnancy then both of them should live
and implying she consented to sex, she shouldn't be surprised when she's pregnant
it'd be baking a cake and being upset when you end up with a cake
@WeirdCatHQ granted, this argument only works if you believe a fetus is both human and alive
i believe it is, because saying it's not alive opens a whole can of worms on what a "human" is
we'd have to agree what makes a human life before we can agree on abortion
@WeirdCatHQ I agree, but the father is almost definitely affected as well if the mother chooses to abort (there's exceptions of course)
I get saying that it's ultimately her choice, but to say she's the only one affected by the choice isn't true
