Beautiful. This reminds me of when I was on a plane in the late 90s. The pilot said, "Ladies and gentlemen, we are now going through the middle of a rainbow. If you look down, you will see that a rainbow is not an arch, it's a circle. That's why you can never find a pot of gold."

The detail that gets me is the man still in his red robe, surrounded by newspapers, looking completely overtaken by the morning while the rest of the family is already composed and moving. Rockwell turned domestic contrast into the whole story without forcing it. Love it.

I took this photo using a Nikon Z6 II with a 105mm f/2.8 VR S Macro lens. This setup allowed me to focus close on the hornworm’s texture and motion while softening the pebbled earth beneath it.
