Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50 received a call from the Foreign Minister of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
The Bahraini FM congratulated DPM/FM on the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran, with Pakistan as witness. He also lauded Pakistan’s constructive mediation role in facilitating the understanding reached between the two sides.
Both leaders felicitated each other on this important milestone and expressed hope that it would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region.
They reaffirmed the strong brotherly ties between Pakistan and Bahrain and underscored the importance of continued high-level engagement and close cooperation between the two countries.

📌During our cordial meeting, I presented the Speaker with the album of the first choral version of the Qaumi Tarana 🎼. Romania has proudly offered Pakistan the first-ever professional choral arrangement and written score of its national anthem. This landmark cultural initiative was realized by the Romanian National Chamber Choir “Madrigal – Marin Constantin” 🎶, as a symbol of friendship and cultural cooperation between our two countries.
📌We discussed ways to further strengthen Romania–Pakistan bilateral relations 🤝, enhance parliamentary diplomacy 🏛️, and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. We also exchanged views on regional and international developments 🌍.
📌I acknowledged Pakistan’s important diplomatic efforts in support of peace and stability 🕊️ and its constructive role in facilitating the ceasefire in the Middle East, as the Memorandum of Understanding is being signed today.

Pakistan is pleased to facilitate the repatriation of 30 Iranian nationals.
This includes 8 Iranian fishermen rescued at sea by the British vessel MMA Valour after their boat ran aground, and 22 Iranian crew members from the vessel Lenore/Davina, recently interdicted by US authorities. Both groups are expected to transit through Karachi in the coming days.
We remain in close coordination with the Iranian, US and UK authorities to ensure the safe transit and early return of our Iranian brethren to their homeland. Pakistan remains committed to humanitarian cooperation and to extending every possible assistance to our Iranian brothers.

🇵���Islamabad, Pakistan – 16 June 2026 – The Embassy of Romania in Pakistan, in collaboration with the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), organized an official award ceremony honoring the students of the Opera Singing Courses conducted at the PNCA.
📌The ceremony took place at @ROinPakistan in Islamabad on Tuesday, 16 June 2026.
The event was attended by H.E. Dan Stoenescu, Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan; Romanian soprano Georgiana Costea-Glugă; Zaildar Shah, Chairman of Pakistan-Romania Friendship Association, Muhammad Ayoub Jamali, Director General of PNCA; Ghulam Muhammad, Incharge of Music Classes at PNCA; and the award-winning students: Imran Parvez Khan, Iria Siona, Ayzer Adeel and Mohammad Tayyab Akbar. 🏆
📌The Opera Singing Courses, unique within Pakistan’s cultural landscape, represent a landmark achievement in cultural diplomacy between Romania and Pakistan. The initiative provides young Pakistani artists with an unprecedented opportunity to explore the rich tradition of European classical and operatic music.
🇷🇴Addressing the participants, Ambassador Dan Stoenescu highlighted the significance of the project:
“The certificates we present today represent only the first tangible result of a long-term endeavor. These four award recipients are much more than graduates of a course; they are officially the pioneers of opera music in Pakistan. Their dedication, perseverance, and passion have laid the foundations for a new artistic tradition and opened a path for future generations of Pakistani performers.”
📌Speaking on the occasion, soprano Georgiana Costea-Glugă emphasized the achievements of the students:
