Amb. Asif Hussain Memon held a meeting with H.E. Ms. Klára Breuer, State Secretary for Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary. Both sides discussed issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations.
As part of their training program, the NDU delegation visited Hungary from 20 to 26 June 2026. The delegation engaged with a cross-section of Hungarian institutions and think tanks, including Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MOL, and Ludovika University.
The Embassy of Pakistan, in collaboration with the House of Music Hungary, was proud to present a special concert by Muslim Shaggan. The evening brought together music lovers, members of the diplomatic community, and the local Hungarian audience for a unique musical experience.
Pakistan was the Guest of Honour Country at the XXIV Business Golf Championship in Hungary, showcasing our culture, cuisine, and trade. Highlights included cricket, a culinary corner, and raffle prizes, including a Multani blue pottery vase and two return air tickets to Pakistan.
Pakistan warmly welcomes the understanding reached between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This significant breakthrough reflects the power of sustained diplomatic engagement and the collective resolve of friendly nations to choose dialogue over confrontation.
It also sends a reassuring message to the international community and provides much-needed confidence and stability to global markets and the world economy, particularly for developing countries that are most vulnerable to regional instability.
Throughout this period, Pakistan remained actively engaged with all concerned parties and consistently advocated restraint and constructive engagement, maintaining that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable means for the resolution of all issues.
We appreciate the trust reposed in Pakistan by the leadership of both the United States and Iran and commend their commitment to remaining engaged in pursuit of a peaceful and negotiated outcome.

Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.
We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement. I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Türkiye for their immense contributions in this regard.
With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.
